Urban Outfitter’s has been made it a priority to expand its global presence. Over the past few years, we have successfully launched ecommerce sites in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, and Mexico. The list continues to grow as more countries are being added to our roadmap.
Design Challenge
Our goal was to achieve the highest brand impact and sales by creating country specific ecommerce platforms that retained the UO brand DNA, while incorporating cultural insights and trends that are unique to these territories.

Our customer base has grown significantly in these markets. Korea has seen some of the largest growth (280% increase) followed by Japan being (225% increase) compared to the prior year.
